On Amp - What's up?
Welcome to the "All Rounders at SM Entertainment" show where you can listen to DJ Kazerific live on AMP. This is a specific radio show in dedication to SM Entertainment songs and their artists.
Tune in to hear all my favorite songs from SM Entertainment. I have a great line-up of songs this week and an overflowing selection of songs.
Who isn't an all-rounder at SM? Artists who are all-rounders can proficiently sing, rap, and dance.
If you are unfamiliar with the SM Entertainment company, they are a major K-pop entertainment company in South Korea with contracted K-pop artists such as Kangta, BoA, TVXQ!, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, Exo, Red Velvet, NCT, NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream, 威神V(WayV), NCT New Team, SuperM, Aespa, GOT the Beat, Zhoumi, J-Min, Lee Dong Woo, Ginjo, Lucas, Imlay, Raiden, Riize, and more!
With SM Entertainment, you are guaranteed to enjoy high quality performances and talent.

You probably heard that there was an announcement last week that AMP is closing down by 31-OCT-2023.
I will still continue hosting Sunday shows until the end of October so feel to drop by as I keep Halloween as the theme for my song selections.
In other SM Entertainment news, I will give you an update on the future releases of SM Entertainment. Unfortunately, all of these songs will be released after AMP is closed, so I will not be able to play these songs for your enjoyment. Please continue to follow and support SM Entertainment in the future.
At the end of October, Riize and SHINee's Taemin will release new music.
Taeyeon, Aespa, Red Velvet, and WayV will be coming back with music in November.
TVXQ! will be celebrating their 20th anniversary with a full length album in December.
That is what is expected for the end of this year.
The new NCT Japan unit, tentatively named NCT NEW TEAM, will debut next year in 2024. They already released their pre-release song, "Hands up" and "We Go," which I really love. We should also expect Yeri, Naevis, a new girl group, Chanyeol, and a new Exo unit to also debut.
Below are some songs that I have played on the "All Rounders at SM Entertainment" show.
Red Velvet - '짐살라빔 (Zimzalabim)
This month is really Red Velvet month as their music videos tends to be strange. I will start off with Zimzalabim, which is a sound that is an enigma to me.
Red Velvet - Be Natural
In last week's show, I incorrectly introduced "Automatic" as the song that was covered by Red Velvet. It was actually this song, "Be Natural" that I was thinking about so I am playing it on this week's show as promised. "Be Natural" is another version of the original S.E.S. song with the same name in the year 2000.
I will also share the S.E.S. original version.
Ten - Paint Me Naked
Sometimes, I think of this song randomly and want to listen to it again. Therefore, I am including this song in today's show.
F(x) - NU ABO
When we think Halloween, we might think of blood. In the case of F(x), it's not only new blood that they need, but a new blood type to start their life all over.
TVXQ! - Hug
TVXQ will be celebrating their 20th anniversary soon before the end of year with new music and a new album. Therefore, I think it would be sweet to play their debut song, "Hug." Their acapella versions are amazing.
Yesung - Scented Things
I promised in the last show that I would introduce Yesung's new album. Yesung is promoting his newest song, "Scented Things." It's a nice and relaxing song, with lyrics that I feel have a deeper meaning.
Kai, Seulgi, Karina, Jeno - Hot & Cold
This song was performed during SMTOWN's "2022 Winter SMTOWN : SMCU PALACE" year end concert. While the weather outside might be hot and cold, relationships don't have to be hot and cold.
A friendly reminder to dress warmly, drink hot liquids, and be well during the changing of the seasons.
Irene & Seulgi - Naughty
I am trying to get in as much Red Velvet as possible with their Irene & Seulgi unit song, "Naughty."
Red Velvet songs are always a treat to listen to and the music video is also not bad by itself. I will bring back more Red Velvet songs throughout the month of October.
Exo - 으르렁 (Growl)
I wanted to include this iconic song before AMP closes. Exo's "Growl" song propelled Exo into huge stardom. They have both the Korean and Chinese versions of this song with slight differences in singing parts, but I cannot decided in the end which song was better, which caused me to endlessly listen to the song at the time and it was also then that I learned the names and faces of all twelve original members of Exo.
I choose to show the Korean version of the song because listening to the Chinese version could cause me to have sad feelings since all the Chinese members have left the company and member Lay is ambiguously still with the Exo team, but I am not sure.
There will also be an orchestra version of "Growl" soon so be on the lookout for that peice.
The 으르렁 (pronounced euleuleong) and it's an onomatopoeia like "Grrr" so it is basically a Growl song of when a man is competing with other men for a woman's attention.
GOT the beat - Stamp on It
GOT the beat is basically SM's answer to the female version of the super group, SuperM. Like SuperM, GOT the beat is composed of select members of SM's girl groups and the legendary BoA. They have an EP album with the same title as the title song, and I recommend to listen to the rest of the songs on the album. I myself haven't listened to it yet (I lost Pink Blood status again), but we should listen to it.
Girls' Generation - 별별별 (☆★☆)
I wanted to highlight one of Girls' Generation beautiful and hopful songs, 별별별 (byul byul byul, meaning star, star, star).
When I first saw them perform this song live, I was totally captivated. Even Hyoyeon had a singing part in this song when she normally raps. I would later come to find out that Hyoyeon is actually also a singer, but she always ends up getting rap parts. I hope to see more of Hyoyeon's growth in the future.
In this song, I can see each singer's vocals highlighted, which is why I appreciate this song very much.
All songs have been added to my ever growing playlist on Youtube:
