My Two-Month Experience using Amazon's AMP

  The Amp app has been deprecated. My short, but valuable journey with AMP as "DJ Kazerific" has come to an end on 31-OCT-2023 and this post is my final farewell. I diligently hosted a total of nine shows once a week for my AMP shows, "Kazerific," which focused on my personal music inspirations and the "All Rounders at SM Entertainment" show, which focused on highlighting the music of SM artists. I had an incredible journey on this app, which forced me into a commitment whether or not I had listeners or up to six listeners, which is my personal high amount on a show (not including myself because that is my husband's favorite question). I wanted to write about my experience even though the shows looked easy to create every week, but it was not easy. https://www.onamp.com/ no longer exists and is seemingly wiped off the internet.  Even though I started my show last week, I will consider that episode 0 where I was playing around, getting familiar with how this works.

I admit, it was kind of nerve-wracking to get live listeners, but I hope this will help me in the future working on my confidence level.

NCT Dream - Yogurt Shake


This son is highly addicting. Yogurt shake with me. Check out all the SNS short videos where they speed up this song so it sounds like hamsters are singing.

Huh Gak - Running in the sky


This song is running to somebody or the feeling of wanting to run to somebody while the person is running towards the edge of a cliff.

If you are interested, listen also to the original song by Lee Juck and also the video from jungmin minjae in the SM competition show "Lastart." I think it would be awesome to hear this song live and enjoy the energy.




Better Things - Aespa


New song released by Aespa! If you like Aespa, you are bound to like this song as well. I feel like I'm on vacation when I heard this song.

Francis Yip - Love Without End


This is a classic song, Actually, I got the Chinese title wrong. It is actually "不了情" Bu Liao Qing (Endless Love).

Super Junior - U (Rearranged, Live)


If you are interested, this song was sung in the competition show, "Lastart" by rookie trainees. A trainee called Minjae had solid vocals to make this song cover sound great.



SHINee - Lucifer 


A huge classic song by SHINee except this one is the extended version where they really go all out with crazy vocals.
If you like this song, check out the song performed by rookies from the competition show, "Lastart," SM's first competition where I really enjoyed trainee Jungmin's performance.



Britney Spears - The Beat Goes On


In dedication to her divorce that was announced this week. You just have to keep going in life.

Stray Kids - S-Class


During the week, I checked that S-Class means special class. This song is really popular so I wanted to play it for the show.

Two Week Status Check

  Interestingly, I went to Google to type in Kazerific to see what type of search results I would receive. There's already an AI generator that explains Kazerific, which is mostly correct except for that one line regarding Kazerific being on TikTok. I am not on TikTok, so that is actually somebody else's account. AI can be amazing. I also check on DJKazerific. It is 100% accurate except in my shows, I won't be using the call-in feature as I have a lot of information and music to cover in a limited one hour's worth of time. Today, I felt happy because there was somebody whom I met for the first time in a video meeting today and he said that he loved my voice and that it was so clear. He said that he would like my voice to be his personal navigator. I was a bit embarrassed, but happy. This gives me more confidence to continue to be your awesome disc jockey on AMP.
